Team Reptiles’s Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is a fantastic game that gives the player a lot of customization freedom ranging from what type of graffiti they tag the city with to what costume their character wears. One bit of freedom that most players likely missed though was the myriad of hidden unlockable characters.
Scattered throughout the world of New Amsterdam are many aspiring writers and teens who want to make their mark in the world. You just need to complete a few sidequests to get them to join your crew. Some of these characters can be found at any time while others will not appear until the post-game.
The character in this guide, Rave, can be found dancing in Versum Hill. Getting to her may be a bit tricky for new players as it requires you to enter the black void at the bottom of the train station on the main street of the area in order to teleport to the top part of the train station.
Once you speak to her here, she will issue you a challenge to tag some graffiti onto the moving train that goes back and forth through the area. This is a fairly simple challenge as the player can either skate along the train tracks to tag it or simply wait where Rave is until the train parks and tag it then.
After tagging the train, Rave will move locations and tell the player to find her in the Underground Bazaar. The entrance to this area can be found near where the player had engaged the Franks in a crew battle during the game’s first chapter. However in order to access the area they first need to show the guarding Oldhead that they have enough rep.
Rave can be found skating in the area, meaning the player will need to catch up to her if they wish to speak. Once they do, Rave will challenge the player to score 50,000 points in under two minutes. This is a very simple score attack challenge, if you’re early in the game and are having trouble with it I recommend that you get your score multiplier as high as you can via grind rails and to remember that hitting the boost button and trick button at the same time will gain you much more points.
After beating her high score, Rave will once again change locations. This time she can be found on the street of Versum Hill near the entrance to your Hideout. Upon speaking to her here she will challenge the player to a race down to street to tag a graffiti location.
If the player successfully defeats Rave in this race, she will join the Bomb Rush Crew and become a selectable character at any Cypher Pad location. Her default playstyle is the bicycle but the player can change that at any time via their Hideout.
