Hello, and welcome to the third article in my new series on The Story Arc: Make a Musou. I love Dynasty Warriors, the number of times I bring it up and the multiple Musou related articles I’ve written should be proof enough of that. However, I am currently in a Dynasty Warriors drought as I have no interest in Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires so I thought it was time to flex some creative writing.
But what could I do? When it comes to Dynasty Warriors content you can find whatever you want online already. For the past twenty years the internet has been filled with character analyses, essays on the storytelling, and gameplay deconstructions. I don’t have much to add when talking about Dynasty Warriors itself. However there is one question that everyone has had at one point in time; “What if ___ was a Musou game?”
That’s right, it’s time to pretend we’ve gone back to the Tumblr days when imagining your ideal game and talking to people about it wasn’t cringe! I have asked my friends to give me a list of franchises and I will make a Musou roster out of each and every one of them. Last week I made a Musou roster out of the Sakura Wars franchise, this time I will he picking a franchise that is much, much larger
This week on The Story Arc we shall be theorizing how a Fate/Extella game with an entirely Summer themed cast would look like!
How we’ll be designing the movesets
Now we must discuss how Musou Movesets typically work if we are going to create a wide variety of them. If you have already read my pieces on making a Batman Musou or the Sakura Wars Musou you may skip ahead to when we start talking about how many characters our roster will have. First let’s go over the basics of each character’s normal attacks. You all likely know how Musou movesets work on a basic level, you string together combos consisting of light attacks and heavy attacks. However there is a pattern that movesets typically follow that I feel needs some explaining.
Pressing light attack once and then heavy will knock enemies directly in front of you in the air allowing for a juggle or for you yourself to transition into an attempted combo.
Pressing light attack two times and then a heavy will perform an attack that while not super powerful will hit enemies close to you, generally on your left and right.
Pressing light attack three times and then heavy will perform an attack that while not your strongest will hit a wide range of enemies.
Pressing light attack four times and then a heavy will perform an attack that is either straight forward or will move you slightly forward
Finally, pressing light attack five times and then triangle will perform an attack that does plenty of damage in a short range, the perfect attack for enemy officers.
These are the foundations of a basic Musou moveset however there is more to explain and think of for our roster.
Under normal circumstances I typically also write a Musou attack, special skills with the R1 button, and 3 attack skills for characters; however for this particular roster I shall not be doing any of those, why?
For R1 special skills my reasoning is simple, because those don’t exist in Fate/Extella. I based my idea for doing those every roster off of Warriors Orochi 3 but as we are dealing with a different style I do not see the need to.
Attack skills though I have a very different justification for not doing. Because I’m basing these movesets only off of the attacks the summer versions of these servants can do I have very very little source material to pull from. So even though attack skills are in the Extella Musous I shall not be doing them here.
Finally I won’t do Musou attacks as in the Extella games; those typically aren’t attacks but rather big cinematics used once per level to eliminate all enemies on screen. So I would just be describing the same thing every time.
And that’s everything! 5 Normal combos for each character. A fair warning as well that I won’t talk about some characters as much as others, thinking of a variety of different movesets is difficult
With everything about how we will go about this explained let’s move on.
Our roster size
Before we get into picking our characters we first need to figure out how big the roster could be. While a true dream would be everyone playable we’re going to have to be realistic with this. Other licensed Musous started with rosters of these sizes
Berserk Musou – 8 characters
Arslan Musou – 16 characters
Dragon Quest Musou – 13 characters + 1 DLC
Touken Ranbu Musou – 15 characters
One Piece Pirate Warriors – 15 characters
For a long time I used these numbers as a Bible for picking roster sizes, but I will be introducing a new rule that will apply to all of my future Musou articles from now on! I will now always make a roster 18 character big unless a franchise has less than 18 characters. That way none of you will be able to complain that they’re too small!
Now as for how we’ll pick characters for this rosters here was my criteria for picking servants
Don’t just pick my favorites, I polled several people to decide on characters
Represent all classes that have had summer servant
Only focus on the women for this roster as the men play very similarly to how they normally do and I want to write a normal Extella 3 article one day
Those are our rules and with that out of the way we can finally start!
Character 1: Artoria Pendragon (Archer)

If we’re constructing a Fate Musou roster we can’t possibly not put Artoria Pendragon herself on it! She’s the poster girl of the series and one of the best written characters in Stay Night, so let’s get her out of the way!
When it comes to summer servants you can’t get more simple than Artoria. She has both a very simple swimsuit and a lot of her animations in FGO are just shooting with a water gun, year 1 at its finest! However this simplicity won’t hold us back! We just need to think of unique ways Artoria can use her water gun for her heavy combos, so let’s do that! Needless to say, her light attacks will also involve shooting the water gun in front of her.
For her first heavy combo Artoria will swing her sword to launch a group of enemies into the air before quickly shooting at them rapidly with the water gun.
Artoria’s second heavy combo will have her throw her gun into the air and perform two quick slashes to her sides with her sword before catching the gun, keeping away enemies too close to her.
As a third heavy combo Artoria will hold in her water gun’s trigger and turn in a wide arc to her right, damaging a large radius of enemies in the process.
The fourth heavy combo of Artoria’s moveset will have her jump backward and shoot a large stream of water directly in front of her.
Finally for the fifth heavy combo of Artoria’s moveset will have her jump above an enemy before quickly turning around and shooting her gun at them, dealing massive damage.
Artoria was a pretty easy moveset to come up with, honestly most of this roster was a breeze. I can’t say I’m super proud of a lot of the Year 1 character movesets I came up with but I think she’s fine enough. So let’s move on to our second character!
Character 2: Nero Cladius (Caster)

Next up on the roster we have a Saber-face and the main heroine of an entire subseries of Fate: Nero! Nero has already been in two Fate Musou games so I don’t need to explain why she’s on here, it just makes sense.
Now as for how she’ll play; summer Nero in FGO fights with two golden devices at her sides, I’ll describe them as fists for the sake of simplicity. These fists can shoot out projectiles similar to funnels from the Gundam franchise which will fire lasers at enemies. So for our roster Nero will be a primarily ranged character with few to no attacks with a short range. Her light attacks will have her shoot her funnels in front of her while her heavy combos will involve fancier maneuvers with them.
For her first heavy combo, Nero will fire two golden lasers at the ground in front of her that will explode into a pillar of fire, knocking enemies into the air.
The second heavy combo of Nero’s moveset will have her funnels spin around her as they fire their lasers, burning through enemies around her.
Nero’s third heavy combo will have her funnels point in various directions around her before firing their lasers, damaging a wide radius of enemies
Then for a fourth heavy combo Nero will have all of her funnels point directly in front of her and shoot off multiple lazer beams.
Finally for her fifth heavy combo Nero will actually attack physically! Using one of her golden fists to punch an enemy before running in herself to deliver a punch with her own fist.
I am not exactly what you call a Nero fan so I didn’t analyze her too much when thinking up this moveset but I do think I did a good job incorporating her animations into musou-style attacks. Our next character though was a lot more fun to write!
Character 3: Tamamo (Lancer)

Since we just talked about Nero how about we get the secondary heroine from Fate/Extra out of the way next? Being in two Fate Musous already it only makes sense to include Tamamo on this roster.
Tamamo had a very unique weapon among characters I’ve written movesets for: an umbrella! And I want to take full advantage of this opportunity so both her light attacks and heavy combos will involve smacking enemies around with the umbrella in various ways! This will make her our first close ranged character on our roster.
Let’s begin things with a simple combo, for her first heavy combo Tamamo will hold her umbrella forward and open it, sending enemies flying into the air before she closes it again.
The second heavy combo of Tamamo’s moveset will have her jump into the air and throw talismans before her the will explode into water, washing away enemies standing where she just was.
For her third heavy combo Tamamo will throw her umbrella and it will begin to spin around her, knocking away a wide range of enemies.
As A fourth heavy combo, Tamamo will ride on her umbrella like a witch’s broom and fly forward through enemies.
Finally for her fifth heavy combo Tamamo will perform several slashes of her umbrella to a single enemy before finishing them off with a simple bonk to the head.
This moveset was a joy to think up! I’ll probably never get the opportunity to write an umbrella moveset again so i went all in. Now let’s move onto a character with a more conventional weapon.
Character 4: Frankenstein (Saber)

Now that we’re done talking about the obvious characters, let’s pull out an almost unknown one: Frankenstein from Fate/Apocrypha. Fran getting a summer variant during FGO’s second summer event was shocking but I’m very grateful for it.
As for her justification for being on the roster I believe Summer Fran’s weapon lends itself well to a unique moveset. It appears to be a normal sword at first but throughout her animations in FGO it surrounds itself with electricity and takes many shapes! So for this hypothetical musou Fran would smack enemies around with the non-powered version for her light attacks while her heavy attacks would make use of electricity!
As a first heavy combo Fran will have her weapon form a claw shape and have it snap on enemies before throwing them up in the air.
Fran’s second heavy combo will have her weapon take the form of a chainsaw as she slashes around herself
The third heavy combo of Fran’s moveset will have her weapon grow to a large size via electricity before she unleashes a horizontal slash, shocking a large number of enemies.
For her fourth heavy combo Fran will charge her weapon with electricity and charge forward at enemies.
Finally for her fifth heavy combo Fran will jump into the air and slam her weapon down on enemies before quickly transitioning to a vertical slash for even more damage!
Fran is really cute and her animatjons are fun, what more can i say? Let’s not waste time on the preamble and move on to another character.
Character 5: BB (Moon Cancer)

Next up on the roster we have a straight up antagonist in a swimsuit: BB! Being the main villain of CCC it’s a shock that BB wasn’t in either Fate/Extella game. As for justification for being on my FGO Musou roster she was the main villain of FGO’s third summer event and if this were a real game I imagine she would play a similar role.
Gameplay wise our Summer BB will primarily be fighting with a scythe, making her one of the speediest characters on this roster! However there’s more to this scythe then meets the eyes as during her animations in FGO itself it morphs into other forms. So our BB would use the normal scythe during her light attacks while her heavy combos would either have a particularly fancy scythe swing or have her morph it into another weapon to decimate enemies!
For her first heavy combo BB will swing her scythe upward and launch enemies into the air where she can begin to juggle them.
Then for a second heavy combo BB will wave her hand and pure darkness will burst out of the ground around her, eliminating enemies.
As a third heavy combo BB will swing her scythe horizontally in front of her to sweep a wide radius of enemies off their feet.
The fourth heavy combo of BB’s moveset will have her turn her scythe into a spear and charge forward at enemies.
Finally for her fifth heavy combo BB will jump into the air and swing a flail downward on the heads of enemies.
BB was a really fun character to write! Her animations in the game are really varied but not to the point of it being hard to craft a moveset out of like some characters later in this roster or even our very next character!
Character 6: Murasaki Shikibu (Rider)

Up sixth in our roster is Murasaki Shikibu! Murasaki made her summer debut as one of the four stars from the fifth summer event and honestly she’s the one servant from that event I’m not a fan of. However I have several fans who are fans of her so this is for them!
Murasaki will actually be one of the slower characters in our roster despite being a Rider, her light attacks will involve her smacking enemies around with her paint brush to deal massive damage while her heavy combos will have her have her use it in other ways.
For her first heavy combo Murasaki will swing her large brush upward and knock enemies into the air.
Murasaki’s second heavy combo will have her write in midair and cause flowers to burst from the ground around her, blowing away enemies.
As a third heavy combo Murasaki will swing in a circle on a spider’s thread, kicking a large amount of enemies as she does.
Murasaki’s fourth heavy combo will have her wave her brush around as eyeballs of darkness appear behind her, once she is finished writing they will fly forward at enemies to damage them.
Finally as a fifth heavy combo Murasaki will aim her brush like a gun and send several multi-colored lasers forward at enemies, dealing devastating damage!
And that was Murasaki! I hope I did justice to her despite not being one of her fans. Our next character though is a servant from Summer 5 I was a fan of though so let’s move on to them!
Character 7: Kiara (Moon Cancer)

Next up we’ve got the other Moon Cancer in our roster: Kiara! Kiara was a major character in Fate/Extra CCC and the fact that she wasn’t in either Fate/Extella game is baffling. Being one of the 5 Stars from FGO’s 5th anniversary summer event it would be crazy for me not to include her on this roster.
Kiara is different from many of the other characters in this roster in that she doesn’t wield a weapon of any kind, nope instead she will be fighting entirely with her body itself! For her light attacks Kiara will let out some devastating slaps while her heavy combos will involve her attacking with her legs.
Starting things off for her first heavy combo Kiara will flip and give a handstand kick, sending enemies in front of her flying into the air.
For her second heavy combo Kiara will give a graceful spin as water surrounds her, damaging enemies that are standing too close to her.
The third heavy combo of Kiara’s moveset will have her teleport around rapidly, letting out midair kicks in all directions to damage many enemies.
As a fourth heavy combo of Kiara’s moveset will have her shoot a beam of water from her fingertips directly in front of her at enemies.
Kiara’s fifth and final heavy combo will have her backflip at enemies in front of her, water surrounding her legs like a mermaid tail before she lands and crushes them.
Kiara was unexpected fun to fight. I usually struggle to write movesets for characters without weapons but everything came naturally when dealing with Kiara, unfortunately I cannot say the same for our next character.
Character 8: Scathach (Assassin)

Next on the roster we’ve got Scathach! Scathach was not only one of early FGO’s break out servants but also the very first Summer Welfare servant! Her early game popularity guaranteed her a slot on this roster.
As for how she’ll play, being a year 1 servant means she doesn’t have a ton of flair to her attacks and honestly she may have been one of the hardest characters to think up a moveset for. Here’s what I came up with though; throughout many of her animations Summer Scathach attacks with a nunchaku version of Gae Bolg and thus for her light attacks and heavy combos we would have her swing these around.
Scathach’s first heavy combo will have her turn her nunchaku into a bow and arrow and fire arrows upwards in front of her, blowing enemies into the air.
The third heavy combo of Scathach’s moveset will have her spin her nunchaku around her, knocking away enemies.
As a second heavy combo Scathach will spin her Gae Bolg nunchaku around her and damage enemies standing too close.
For her fourth heavy combo Scathach will throw one of her sandals forward before running at enemies to retrieve it.
Finally for a fifth heavy combo Scathach will wrap her nunchaku around and enemy’s neck and then proceed to kick them.
Scathach is the complete essence of a year 1 character whose animations are really hard to make a moveset for. They all look the same! Let’s just move on to someone who was much easier to write.
Character 9: Illya (Archer)

Let’s move on to my favorite character in this roster: Illya! It’s no secret that I’m a huge Prisma Illya fan and you can read some of my Prillya related things [here], but let’s not get too off topic. We all know Illya’s here because I love her so let’s talk about moveset.
Illya is a unique case among summer servants where she actually has two completely different ways of attacking between her ascensions! In her first two ascensions she uses a hose and during her third ascension she uses a water gatling gun! I want to represent both ascensions here so for her light attacks Illya will smack enemies around with her hose and the bucket of water she brought while her heavy combos will either have her sprag the hose or pull out the gatling gun for an attack!
As a first heavy combo Illya will aim her hose at the ground and begin spraying before quickly moving it up vertically, the water spraying from the hose will both damage enemies and send them flying into the air.
Illya’s second heavy combo will have the hose slip from her hands above her and bonk enemies close by in the head before she catches it.
The third heavy combo of Illya’s moveset will have her with her gatling gun and then pulling out an umbrella, the water raining down shall damage a wide range of enemies.
For her fourth heavy combo Illya will grab her large bucket of water and charge forward at enemies, mowing down all in her path.
The final heavy combo of Illya’s moveset will have her jump into the air and shoot water out of her minigum directly down in front of her, this attack won’t have much range but it will deal heavy damage.
I love Prisma Illya and I’m so happy that Illya didn’t betray me by being hard to write about! Illya isn’t the only child servants on our roster though, so let’s move on to our other one!
Character 10: Abigail Williams (Foreinger)

Abigail Williams is easily one of the most popular servants created for FGO. The amount of Fanart that exists of her could fill up a mountain, there was no way she wouldn’t be on our roster.
Gameplay wise we’re going to go with the third ascension of Summer Abby as that’s the one that isn’t uncomfortable to look at. She will be one of the slower characters on our roster but will also be one of the more gimmicky ones. While her light attacks will involve smacking enemies with life preservers her heavy combos will follow no trend, making her moveset a complete wild card.
The first heavy combo of Abigail’s moveset will have one of her cats shoot rainbow lasers out of its mouth and send enemies flying into the air.
As a second heavy combo Abigail will throw one of her life preservers to her cats and they will begin tossing it around, harming enemies around her
Then for a third heavy combo Abigail will throw a ball into the air which one of her cats will kick downward, once the ball lands it will explode and decimate a wide range of enemies.
Abigail’s fourth heavy combo will have a pool appear in front of her which she will jump into, both the appearance of the pool and her jumping will harm enemies.
Finally for Abigail’s fifth heavy combo giant floaties will fall from the sky in front of her and crush enemies.
Summer 5 onward is where FGO began to go really nuts with its summer attacks animations and characters like Abby show that in spades! Our next character also follows this trend in game so let’s round off our last child in the roster shall we?
Character 11: Da Vinci (Ruler)

Next up on the list we have Da Vinci! Da Vinci is one of the most important characters in FGO’s story which makes it shocking that it took 6 entire years for her to get a summer outfit! I’m glad they waited however as I am a bigger fan of Da Vinci’s child design and the idea they came up with for her summer version in FGO was brilliant.
Da Vinci uses a gun in her summer version, but it isn’t an ordinary gun or a squirt gun like several of the other characters here. No, she not only shoots out different elemental attacks from her gun but also summons robotic dinosaurs to assist her in combat! So in our moveset Da Vinci would shoot out various multi-colored projectiles for her light attacks while each of her heavy attacks would have her summon one of her dinosaur friends for assistance!
The first heavy combo of Da Vinci’s moveset will have her shoot her gun toward the sky to summon her robotic bird, as her bird appears from her gun it will create a whirlwind to send both Da Vinci and enemies around her into the air.
As a second heavy combo Da Vinci will continue to shoot her gun forward as her robotic triceratops runs to her left and right to protect her.
For her third heavy combo Da Vinci will summon her robotic Loch Ness monster from her gun and ride on it as it swims through water that appeared out of nowhere in a circular formation, damaging all enemies in its path before vanishing.
Da Vinci’s fourth heavy combo will have her shoot forward as her robotic triceratops appears from her gun and charges forward at enemies.
Finally for her fifth heavy combo Da Vinci will summon all three of her robotic friends to charge at enemies, dealing especially high damage to the first one they come in contact with.
Da Vinci was the first moveset I wrote in this roster and honestly I think she turned out really well despite that. I swear there’s no more kids on this roster so let’s move on now!
Character 12: Kama (Avenger)

Up twelfth we’ve got summer Kama! Kama was in a very unique position for this roster as she is currently the only summer servant in the Avenger class, which guaranteed her a slot as I wanted to represent all classes. Clever, Kama.
For her moveset she’ll be attacking with a life preserver like Abby did however she will be much fast than Abby and her heavy combos will follow two themes: Being evil and birds!
Kama’s first heavy combo will have her summon birds out of nowhere to grab and pull enemies into the air for her to attack.
The second heavy combo of Kama’s moveset will have her roll her life preserver on the ground at high speeds, damaging enemies at an angle before it returns to her.
As a third heavy combo Kama will spin around with her flower life preserver and damage a wide range of enemies.
For Kama’s fourth heavy combo she will hold the life preserver in front of her and launch a large laser of darkness forward at enemies.
Finally for a fifth heavy combo Kama will begin to ride on an inflatable monster toward a group of enemies, exploding when she makes contact with them for massive damage.
Kama was a pretty easy character to write, most of the later year characters were. Not too much to say other than I hope you all roll her next year.
Character 13 Jeanne (Archer)

Next up we’ve got one of the most popular servants in the series and the poster girl of Fate/Apocrypha: Jeanne D’Arc! Why did I wait an entire 13 slots before talking about Jeanne? Because I don’t want any of you to instantly close the page after I talk about your favorites, I am forcing you to keep scrolling!
Summer Jeanne’s attacks in FGO itself involve her using hoops and a dolphin and as such so will our moveset! For her light attacks Jeanne will smack enemies around with her hoops while her heavy combos will involve commanding her dolphin friends to attack!
Jeanne’s first heavy combo will have her throw a beach ball into the air in front of her, causing a dolphin to jump out of the ground below it, knocking enemies in the air with it.
The second heavy combo of Jeanne’s moveset will have her clap and cause her dolphins to jump out of the ground around her, damaging enemies nearby.
The third heavy combo will have Jeanne whistle for help and two of her dolphin companions will begin to spin in a wide radius around her, damaging enemies.
As a fourth heavy combo Jeanne will throw her hoop forward and one of her dolphins will appear from the ground to toss it back, damaging enemies hit by the hoop on the way there and back.
Finally for her fifth heavy combo Jeanne will have one of her dolphins appear behind her to spike a beach ball down on enemies in front of her, dealing heavy damage.
And that was Jeanne D’arc everyone! Alright, I’m not going to pretend to waste your time before we move on to the next character. You all know who’s coming next.
Character 14: Jeanne Alter (Berserker)

We can’t have Jeanne on this roster without her baffling more popular Alter! Jeanne Alter was the welfare of FGO’s third summer event and even now you still occasionally see her in people’s support lists, she fully deserves to be on this roster.
Gameplay wise Summer Jeanne Alter will be one of the speedier characters in our roster as she runs up to enemies to quickly slash them with her swords. My dislike of writing about katanas is surely known by know so just know that both her light attacks and heavy combos would follow this trendm
Jeanne Alter’s first heavy combo will have her surround her swords in black fire and swing upward, sending enemies flying skyward
As a second heavy combo, Jeanne Alter will swing her sword around her. A very simple attack but she honestly doesn’t have that much going for her spectacle wise in FGO.
The third heavy combo of Jeanne Alter’s moveset will have her spin around rapidly with a sword in each hand, damaging a wide range of foes.
For her fourth heavy combo Jeanne Alter will point her fingers forward and in a Yu Yu Hakusho reference fire a spirit gun.
Finally for her fifth heavy combo Jeanne Alter will deliver a kick to an enemy’s groin, dealing devastating damage
You know what would he really dumb? If I decided to put three sword users in a row on this roster despite my known dislike of writing katana movesets. That’d just be ridiculous.
Character 15: Katsushika Hokusai (Saber)

Another katana user?! What was I thinking! Anyway, Summer Hokusai was the welfare servant of FGO’s fourth summer event and to this day is still considered one of the best welfare servants in the entire game! That alone justifies her position in this roster
Gameplay wise I imagine Hokusai playing very wildly, as she is using multiple swords her light attacks would have her slashing them in multiple directions while her heavy combos would he particularly spectacular swings.
For her first heavy combo Hokusai will hand her sword to her squid father who will quickly spin around vertically, launching enemies into the air where Hokusai can continue to juggle them with her combos.
As a second heavy combo Hokusai will juggle her swords around her, damaging enemies nearby.
Hokusai’s third heavy combo will have her stick a sword into the ground, jump on top of it, and begin to spin with her swords out. A complicated maneuver that will damage a wide range of enemies.
Then for Hokusai’s fourth heavy we will have her point two of her swords forward and send forth a large stream of ink, annihilating enemies.
Finally for her fifth heavy combo Hokusai and her squid dad will before a combination attack together that will involve them both swinging her swords at a small group of enemies.
Oh thank God that’s over with. Hokusai wasn’t as hard to write as katana users I’ve done in the past because of her multiple swords and her squid dad, but it still wasn’t super fun. Let’s move on now to our third sword user.
Character 16: Tomoe Gozen (Saber)

Next up we have the favorite characters of one of my friends: Tomoe Gozen! That is the entire reason I am writing about her so let’s see if I can do her justice!
Summer Tomoe wields two swords in combat, swords can be a tricky thing to describe in these rosters as while they are interesting to look at, it’s hard to describe a sword in a way that’s unique from any other sword. Thankfully Tomoe makes things easy by having some fiery flare to her attacks that makes them easy to describe. Her light attacks shall all involve swinging her swords around normally while her heavy combos will be more specialized attacks.
The first heavy combo of Tomoe’s moveset will have her launch herself and enemies into the air with a cyclone of fire, once in the air she can keep attacking enemies until they land.
For a second heavy combo Tomoe will stick her blades into the ground and cause fire to burst from the ground all around her, damaging surrounding enemies.
Tomoe’s third heavy combo will have her spin around in a circle while holding her blades, cutting apart enemies with the power of a buzzsaw.
The fourth heavy combo of Tomoe’s moveset will have her swing her swords and send a spinning circular blade of fire flying forward toward enemies.
Finally for her fifth heavy combo Tomoe will perform three rapid slashes at enemies while her swords are ablaze to heavily damage enemies.
No more sword users! We’re almost done and neither of our two remaining slots are Sabers! I hope I did Tomoe justice for you, fellow Story Arc contributor Burner Shard.
Character 17: Anastasia (Archer)

Next up on the roster we’ve got Anastasia! For years it was a gag that Anastasia was boiling to death during summer events but during FGO’s 6th year they finally gave her a summer variant to close out the joke! This long running joke’s existence is reason enough to include her on the roster I say.
Figuring out how Anastasia should play was a bit tricky as she doesn’t have any consistent attacks, almost every one of her animations is a different thing! However I feel like I came up with something clever. During one of her attacks Anastasia is blindfolded while Viy helps her hit a watermelon: we’re going to use that as a basis for her hold moveset! For her light attacks Anastasia will be blindly swinging around a stick trying to burst open a watermelon while her heavy attacks will have Viy assist and protect her!
Starting things off with her first heavy combo, Viy will pull the life preserver off Anastasia’s body and smack enemies into the air with it before quickly putting it back on her before she notices.
For a second heavy combo Viy will pour a bucket of water above Anastasia’s heads, enemies around her will also be drenched and receive damage
As a third heavy combo Viy will appear from the ground with a life preserver of his own and knock away a large amount of enemies with it.
The fourth heavy combo of Anastasia’s moveset will have her eat a slice of watermelon in an instant and quickly spit out the seeds at enemies in front of her.
Anastasia’s fifth heavy combo will have Viy’s monstrous form appear behind her and throw a large snowball onto the heads of enemies.
Character 18: Carmilla (Rider)

For our final character in the roster I have chosen Carmilla! Why is Carmilla closing things off? Well no particular reason, a list like this doesn’t really have a character who can be the big finale so we’re going with what we’ve got, Carmlia just happened to be the last character I wrote about.
Carmilla is another servant on here with a gun but we won’t be having her use it in any of her heavy combos. She will merely use it for her light attacks by firing bullets straight ahead of her while her heavy combos will be handled by the two dogs she has at her side!
For her first heavy combo Carmilla will have one of her dogs knock enemies into the air while the other one jumps up after them to bite them.
The second heavy combo of Carmilla’s moveset will have her flip onto her head and begin to spin her legs around rapidly, damaging enemies that are too close to her.
Then for a third heavy combo Carmilla will have her dogs run in a circle around her to bite away at enemies in a wide radius.
Carmilla’s fourth heavy combo will have her send her dogs flying forward through the air in a drill formation at enemies directly in front of her.
Finally for her fifth heavy combo Carmilla will have her two dogs jump into the air and spin together like a saw as they land on an enemy directly in front of her to eat away at its health.
Conclusion
And there you have it folks! A roster for a hypothetical summer themed Fate/Extella game! All classes have been represented, we’ve got a wide range of weapons and movesets, and in terms of what years servants were introduced we’ve got all 6 years represented! I think we couldn’t have done a better job!
Of course feel free to tell me what you think in the comment section and also check out the Make a Musou homepage for other Musous I’ve written!
Next three suggestions:
