“NALE” is a hybrid of visual novel and graphic adventure game. Players will investigate crime scenes, search for clues and interview witnesses from a top-down perspective, before going to court and representing their client in a manner inspired by the Ace Attorney and Danganronpa games.

Chapter III also brings Touge Janken Racing to the table. This turn-based minigame sees Nina get behind the wheel to take part in illegal street races using Mode7-style visuals.

Veteran voice actor Rachael Messer (Azur Lane, Goblin Slayer, Forgotten Anne) provides the voice of protagonist Nina Aquila.

The game’s social channels will feature daily content updates between now and launch, providing fans more info about the world and characters of NALE.

Additionally, Chapter II will be on sale for $1.99 during the pre-order period & week of release (regular price $3.99), while Chapter I is free forever.

About Chapter III

The chapter’s story begins with a tragic accident that soon escalates into a power-play for the soul of mountain racing, with Nina and Dylan caught in the middle. Players will investigate this over the course of an adventure with more than four hours of exciting story & gameplay.

The game will also feature an accessibility option where the street races auto-win, so players can never lose and continue to enjoy the story. The game makes it clear there’s no penalty for using this

This follows on from similar themes in Chapter II, itself a parody of collect-and-battle anime such as Yu-Gi-Oh! and Gundam Build Fighters, that incorporated a card-battling-themed minigame.

A Mac version is planned for the future (Details TBD)
